Barbara says, “There are times when we think that life is not fair. But there are some people that appear to get stronger and wiser as they go thru their test. My daughter is such a person. Jedidah was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2002, just after her 25th birthday. In October 2002 Jedidah and another cancer survivor organized a cancer support group in Neshoba County named “God’s Miracles”. In March 2003 she introduced the “Voices of Praise” to raise funds for Relay for Life. Jedidah tries to meet with people that have been diagnosed or have had to go back to the hospital to encourage and talk to them. She has been an inspiration to many. Having a disease like this makes you grow up faster and appreciate life as never before. Jedidah looks to God as the strength of her life and her rock.”
