Breastfeeding

Education and a good support system are essential for a positive, rewarding breastfeeding experience. Our Breastfeeding Class, offered to women delivering at Baptist, is a good place to start. An Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is available as needed after delivery.

Breastpump Rental and Lactation Supplies
Medela's hospital-grade electric breast pumps are available for monthly rental. The rental cost is $60/month. Please call 601-968-1803 to arrange a rental. Pumps are picked up and returned to the Unit 4 South nursing station in Baptist for Women.
