Baptist Executive Vice Present, Jerry Cotton, Presented Seven Seals Award For Granting Employee Military Leave

Jackson, Miss – April 18, 2006 - Baptist Executive Vice President Jerry Cotton was presented the Seven Seals award by Captain Linda Williams and Scott Woods, state chair of the Mississippi Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Cotton was nominated by Williams, the director of hospital services for Baptist, who is mobilized with the 3rd Brigade, 87th Division, United States Army Reserve, in Hattiesburg. The Seven Seals is one of several awards presented annually to employers for supporting Reservists by going beyond the legal requirement of granting leave for military duty.
