Baptist Cancer Services offers The Lebed Method "Focus on Healing," a therapeutic movement and exercise program developed specifically for women following breast cancer surgery, node dissection, radiation, chemotherapy, lymphedema, or those who suffer from chronic fatigue. [back to top]

June 28 - Baptist Cancer Services Conducts Free Skin Screening
Baptist Cancer Services will hold a free skin screening on July 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Hederman Cancer Center. The screenings are for individuals 18 years and older to examine their skin for cancer risks. Participants with concerns about rashes or minor skin irritations and those already under the care of a physician are not eligible.

March 29 - Baptist is Barking Up the Right Tree
Two Baptist employees collaborated to start pet therapy at Baptist. Approved by the Medical Executive Committee in February, the program officially started this month.
